The Howard Sofa is built for comfort with classic character. Its traditionally hand‑tied coil sprung seat, back and sprung arms give it that unmistakable Howard feel — supportive, gently responsive, and designed to keep its shape and comfort for decades.
As standard, the cushions have a comfy feather and down mix, giving you plump comfort, this filling does require plumping. Prefer something different underneath, do you? Many alternative cushion fillings are available, from completely natural materials to No Effort, No Plumping comfy foam.
Every Howard Sofa is handmade to order, so nothing is fixed. All dimensions and specifications can be made bespoke — deeper seat, higher back, wider arms, or a size tailored to a precise alcove. Like a Savile Row suit, it’s made to fit you.
The legs are solid mahogany, turned by hand, and because everything we make is bespoke, other woods, finishes and Castors are available too.
